Sallys Rocking Horses Ltd

Haddons rocking horse

Large model rocking horse from Haddons circa 1970

This is a large Haddons Rocking Horse dating to circa 1970. In excellent condition for it's age, the gel coat and paintwork are excellent, likewise the natural horse hair mane and tail. In keeping with Haddon models of this era, he has wooden footrests on the side rails instead of stirrups, and the saddle did not include a saddlecloth. The leather bridle and reins are detachable and along with the blonde natural horse hair mane and tail, are likewise in excellent condition.

This rocking horse has been exceptionally well looked after over the years and is in near perfect condition. The only significant flaw is the varnish on the stand is looking tired, most likely due to light damage, inevitable after so many years.

This rocking horse is made of GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic), which is not only very durable, as witnessed by the condition of this horse, but light and easy to rock.
