Fully restored Lines Bros Sportiboy
Harry is a fully restored Lines Sportiboy. He has a high degree of finish, but the restoration has been sympathetic enough to retain significant original features. The bowler hat covers on the rocking irons for example and the original, though worn, circular Lines Bros/Triang badges on the stand base.
Harry has been completely regessoed and painted. This is a quality restoration, as a dapple grey. He also has a replacement saddle and bridle, though in the style of the original detachable tack. White natural horse hair mane and tail complete a pleasing finish.
The round badges suggest a date of circa 1925-30 for Harry, yet his quality finish belies his 80-90 year old age, it is nevertheless there to see.
