Mally is an antique rocking horse attributed to Crossley Bros of Blackpool, circa 1930s.
This is a very distinctively designed rocking horse, with some notable features,. The head is relatively small with glass eyes, pillar long and slender and the carving out in the saddle area distinctive. The brackets are three pin.
This rocking horse has just undergone a comprehensive restoration, including re-painting, new tack throughout, new natural horse hair mane and tail and renovation of the stand. It is a delightfully pleasing well finished rocking horse with the quality and investment value of an antique.
