Tip carts were popular toys up until the 1950s when they grew
out of fashion. This fine example from Leeway, it bears the
original transfer logo on the back board, probably dates between
1930-60.

Leeway were a trading name for Paterson Edwards Ltd, who were
prolific toy makers based in London from 1892 to 1989. They were
still prolific rocking horse makers into the 1960's when these
kind of toys were going out of fashion.
