Delightful little toy horse on wheeled frame. This horse has had a lot of restoration, probably including the wooden wheels carved to look like pressed steel versions. The wrought iron handle and frame is also probably replacement. It has also been repainted.
Toys such as this were common from the 1930s, through to the 60's. The turned handle and wrought iron frame could be indicative of an earlier date, post war they would have been wood with a dowel handle.
In the post war period, Lines Bros - Triang produced large numbers of such horses at a number of factories, for a period becoming the world's largest toymaker.
